Who we are

Plans and prices

Solo covers 1 person, Duo covers 2, Family covers up to 4. The prices are in the table below and on the memberships page.

HST (13%) is added on top of every price and the start-up fee. Solo and Duo have a one-time $49.95 start-up fee, charged with your first payment. Family has no start-up fee.

Billing and renewal

You pay monthly, every 3 months, or yearly, depending on the plan you pick. Your card is charged automatically through Stripe on the same day each period.

Your membership renews automatically at the same interval until you cancel. There is no fixed end date.

Your price is locked

Your rate never goes up as long as you keep your membership. Pausing keeps your rate too. Prices for new members go up on January 1, 2027; that does not change your rate. If you cancel and join again later, you pay the price of that day. HST follows the law, so the tax part can change if the government changes it.

Cancelling: 2 months' notice

Tell us you want to cancel, in writing (see "How to cancel" below). Your membership ends 2 months after the day we get your request, or at the end of the period you already paid for if that comes later.

Payments that come due before that end date still go through. We don't refund time you already paid for.

In your first 10 days, the cooling-off period below applies instead.

Pausing

After 6 months of active membership, you can put your membership on hold, for an injury, a trip, or anything else. Ask us and tell us how long you need; we set it up for you. While it's on hold you are not billed, and your rate stays locked.

Bring a friend

When a friend joins with your referral code, you each get one free month of membership. The free month is taken off an upcoming payment. The usual start-up fee still applies to your friend; the referral never waives it. To get your code, text CODE to (343) 340-4238, or ask us at the gym.

Your door code is yours

After you join, we text you your own door code. It's personal: don't share it, and don't let anyone in who isn't a member. One guest a month is included: bring them in yourself.

Sharing your code or letting others in breaks these terms, and we can end the membership. We can change the code; we'll text you the new one.

Using the gym

Follow the rules posted in the gym and treat other members and the equipment with care. Exercise carries a risk of injury: start light, use each machine as its card shows, and check with your doctor if you have a health concern. The gym has security cameras for everyone's safety.

If someone seriously or repeatedly breaks the rules or puts others at risk, we can end their membership right away.

Your 10-day cooling-off period

Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002 gives you 10 days after you receive the written copy of these terms to cancel for any reason. You get a full refund, start-up fee included, within 15 days of telling us.

We email you a written copy of these terms after you sign up. You can also save or print this page any time.

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under that law.

How to cancel

In writing, any of these ways: email ben@gymexpress.net, text (343) 340-4238, or come to the gym and tell us. Give your name and the phone number or email on your membership. We reply to confirm the date your membership ends. Keep that reply.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we post a new version here with a new date. The new version applies to memberships started on or after that date. Your membership stays under the version you joined under unless you agree in writing to a new one.
