Gym Express
New here?

Your first 30 days.

The goal isn't to get fit by day 30. It's to still be here in month three, because most people aren't.

We're open 5AM to 10PM, every day. This plan is built around two visits a week, the number that predicts people stick with it.

Why twice a week

This isn't a guess.

More than half of new gym members quit within three months. Most quit between week six and week twelve, exactly where this plan is built to carry you.

People who come twice a week are much more likely to still be members a year later.

Canada's guideline for adults: 150 minutes of movement a week, plus muscle-strengthening twice a week. This plan gets you there in four weeks, not one.

Week 1

Two short sessions. That's it.

Come look around first if you want, no obligation. Then two visits this week: ten minutes walking, two machines, light weight. That's a real start.

2
Week 2

Same two visits, a little more.

Keep the twice-a-week rhythm. Add five minutes, or try a third machine. Small and repeatable beats big and one-time.

3
Week 3

Add a third day.

Three shorter visits, or two longer ones, whichever fits your week. You're building toward the guideline now, not chasing it.

4
Week 4

Close in on the guideline.

Three or four visits this week, plus your two strength days. That's Canada's own movement guideline, and now it's just your week.

What nobody tells you.

  • The floor is quietest mid-morning and after 8PM.
  • Nobody is watching you. Everyone is doing their own thing.
  • No one comments on what you're lifting, or how new you look doing it.
